HTC is planning to give users $25 each to report missing a phone or tablet.
The reward is a reward for HTC One Matic owners who report their phones or tablets missing, and will be handed out by HTC.
The company previously announced that it would start the $25 reward program, but it only offered $10 in December and April.”HTC is committed to providing support and assistance to our One Matics customers, and we are committed to working with them to help them recover their devices,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
“We have recently announced the launch of a $10 reward for the HTC One.
If you have reported a missing device, or any other matter, please contact our support team via our online support tool or by emailing [email protected]”HTC said that users should report missing devices by visiting www.htcusa.com and filling out a free survey.
Users will be asked to select a contact method, which will prompt the HTC representative to ask a series of questions about the missing device.
HTC said it will then send the missing phone or device to a contact that can contact the HTC phone manufacturer.
The HTC One will be available in two configurations, which can be upgraded through a $99 service fee.
The service fee covers the device replacement, the phone repair, and the replacement of the battery.
Users must have an active HTC account to upgrade to this configuration.
The phone is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2019.
