When it comes to treating your cancer, a few simple remedies can be effective in curbing its symptoms.
Read more: For example, if your symptoms of a tumour are so bad that you need surgery, your body can release a chemical called prostaglandins to help ease pain and swelling.
If that doesn’t work, you could try some homeopathic remedies.
A simple homeopathic remedy can help treat your symptoms from a cancer diagnosis, too, says Prof. Dr. Deepak Kaur, director of the National Cancer Institute.
“Homeopathy has been shown to have significant benefits in terms of alleviating pain and inflammation, particularly when administered in a supportive manner.
So, it is not a new treatment.
And it is certainly not a cure-all either.
However, homeopathic treatments are not as effective as other treatments as they do not contain specific compounds, and the main ingredients of these remedies are not the same,” he told The Times Of India.”
There is a lot of research into the role of the natural ingredients in homeopathic medicine, and there are different types of remedies which can be prescribed to help treat different kinds of conditions,” Dr. Kaur added.
Dr. Kankar says there are also homeopathic medications that are more potent than those available on the market, but it takes time to develop them.
For instance, one of the first homeopathic medicines he tried was the Bacopa monnieri, which is said to treat pain and improve circulation in people with cancer.
“The Bacopa Monnieri is a natural herb that has been used for centuries for treating a wide variety of ailments,” he said.
“However, I found that it is only suitable for a specific type of cancer, such as melanoma, and for a particular period of time.
So I started making homeopathic preparations, which are made with a particular chemical.”
Homeopathic medicines are made by combining the chemicals of the Bacopacum herbaceous, an ancient Chinese herbal medicine, with the components of a natural medicine.
For instance, the Bacophyllin, a compound from the plant Bacopa, helps relieve pain in people suffering from pain and has been widely used as a treatment for cancer.
Another homeopathic treatment that has gained popularity in recent years is the Pomegranate Root Extract, which has been credited with alleviating symptoms of asthma and cough.
In addition, there are herbal supplements like St. John’s Wort, which can help improve circulation and prevent heart disease and other illnesses.
“There are many other remedies that have been suggested for treating the various symptoms of various cancers.
But for cancer, there is no standard, so it is difficult to make a specific remedy for the disease,” Dr Kankal told The Times of India.
The best-known remedy for treating cancer is called homeopathy, says Dr. Sankar Sankaran, a professor of pathology at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).
“Homeopathic remedies are based on the idea of treating the symptoms in a controlled and safe manner,” he explains.
“It is not the cure-and-doctrine approach that is the cornerstone of homeopathy.”
Dr Sankarakan said the most effective homeopathic medication for cancer is the Bacaprotassium citrate, which contains compounds that are similar to those in a natural remedy.
“This medicine is used to treat all kinds of diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, and many other conditions,” he explained.
“In general, this medicine has been found to be very safe and effective.”
The use of homeopathic products in cancer treatment is growing, but experts say there is still a lot to learn about their effectiveness and safety.
“Homeopathy is a relatively new practice and there is a lack of studies into the efficacy of this practice,” Dr Sankara said.
“Many homeopathic therapies are not very well-designed and can only be used in a laboratory setting.
So the use of these products as an alternative therapy has to be done in a large scale clinical trial,” he added.”
The use and safety of homeopaths in cancer therapy is still in its early stages.
This is not only a matter of public health concerns, but also of ethical considerations.”
